SATR 2022: Manpower SEE’s First Regional Salaries & Benefits Survey

Over 550 companies from 20 different business sectors took part in the survey, sharing their plans for the first half of 2022. Across the region, there is a positive attitude towards wages – none of the sectors are planning reductions, 17% do not plan to make changes in the first half of 2022, and the remaining 86% plan to increase the salaries of their employees by at least 5%.

When it comes to additional benefits and bonuses, responses from the region are divided almost in half – 57% do not plan to implement significant changes, whereas 42% share that they plan to increase the current benefits and bonuses. Only 1% say they will reduce the benefits they offer.

All in all, organizations plan for the changes to affect all or almost all of their employees.

The main reason for the positive change in the region is due to the fact that companies want to keep their talent in their teams.
