Job Overview:

• This pivotal role will lead the accounting team and oversees daily operations of an accounting unit. 
• Overseeing all accounting functions such as ledger accounts, financial statements, and cost control systems and focusing on regulatory compliance and practices and collaborating with the CFO for implementing financial strategies.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and control the whole accounting policy and activities in the company;
• Ensure the accurate and precise execution of the tasks concerning accounting and finances. 
• Organize and process accounting documentation.
• Handle with accounts receivables and accounts payables.
• Preparing and submitting VAT declaration to the tax authorities.
• Participates actively in the preparation of annual budget.
• Monthly, quarterly and year-end closings.
• Periodically prepare financial reports and analyzes for the management.
• Support month-end and year-end close process according to local legislation, IFRS and applicable Group standards.
• Preparation of different types of statutory and statistical reports. 
• Conduct monthly and annual financial reports.
• Monitor changes in legislation and the ensuing obligations for the company related to accounting for revenue, expenses, fixed assets and others.
• Participated in the creation and updating of procedures related to financial accounting and financial policies of the company.
• Ensures accurate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Participates in the preparation and completion of annual tax returns.
• Responsible for VAT and other obligatory tax and statistical reporting.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

Requirements for the position:

• Diploma in Accounting or Finances.
• Min 5 years’ experience in the field of accountancy, at least 2 of them as Chief Accountant in international company. 
• Deep knowledge of Bulgarian legislation, knowledge and experience with International Accounting Standards.
• Previous experience in production company will be considered as a strong advantage. 
• Previous experience with ERP will be advantage. 
• Business fluent in English both written and oral.
• Excellent PC Knowledge.
• Strong Leadership skills.
• Responsibility, loyalty and professional attitude to work. 
• Ability to priorities tasks and keep to deadlines.
