Data Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer for our client—a leading international banking and insurance group, supporting millions of customers across Europe. Our client is focused on digital transformation, delivering cutting-edge IT solutions, software development, QA, and AI integration for innovative banking services.

Your Responsibilities:

• Join an operational team managing over 5,000 data files.
• Own and maintain the staging layer crucial for commercial data use.
• Actively participate in data ingestion processes and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Collaborate closely with an extensive offshore team.
• Maintain and improve data quality.
• Design, build, and support scalable data pipelines.
• Ensure efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Essential skills and experience:
• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools and technologies such as Python, PySpark, Jenkins, IntelliJ, GIT, UNIX, UAC.
