A new Global Shared Service Center is opening in Sofia. The company operates as a global B2B information-services business and has been present in Bulgaria for many years.

The new GSSC will be playing the role of the finance transaction processing center covering Europe and North America transactions for P2P, O2C and R2R.

We are looking for a knowledgeable candidate for the position:

  • Responsibility for the monthly general ledger close activities
  • Review and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals to ensure high quality compliance
  • Control over settlements with customers, suppliers, cash registers, banks and other stakeholders
  • Participates in preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned
  • Ensure timely completion of Internal and External audits.
  • Perform analytics to ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement of processes to reduce costs.
  • Maintaining active communication with other departments of the company and external Contractors

The successful candidate is someone who owns:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience on similar accounting position in SSC
  • Experience to work with ERP system, NetSuite preferably  
  • Fluency in English language
